Wael Farouk is the first Egyptian to ever play the Rachmaninoff's Third Concerto at a debut in Egypt in 2002 and Russia in 2003. He studied on a Fulbright Scholarship at Catholic University under the late Marilyn Neeley, 2002-3, then enrolled in an M.A. program at Converse College, 2004-6. Last year, he played at the Cairo Opera House.Program:
