Salem Al-Maghrishi is an Oud player. He currently works as a professor of Oud at the First Royal Band for Music and Folklore, and he is a key and active member of the Oud Hobbyists Association. Mr. Al-Maghrishi began playing the Oud at the age of eleven years and taught himself by listening and copying popular Arab artists and musicians. Through years of practice, he has acquired a strong knowledge of authentic musical heritage.
